Belle saison

Autumn is so nice in Montreal. I would love this season if it wasn\’t just before winter.
I took this photo in my street.

L\’automne est tellement beau à Montréal. Ce serait ma saison préférée si elle ne précédait pas l\’hiver.
J\’ai pris cette photo un matin en revenant de la garderie d\’Anouk.

En chantant

A friend of mine sings in a choral and ask me to take pictures to illustrate their songs. Here is the one I took for the song “En chantant” (“in singing”) from the french singer Michel Sardou.
Une amie à moi chante dans une chorale et m’a demandé de prendre des photos pour illustrer leurs chansons. Voici celle prise pour la chanson de Michel Sardou “En chantant”.

Concours Créa

That’s a picture I took for my job.
Andre and Scott have created a campaign for Créa (a yearly quebecer advertising contest). They asked to the best Creative Directors on earth to pose for them with a sad face because they have won many inernational prizes but no Créa. Of course. You need to be in Quebec to participate, and the ad says “The bar is high”.
The whole campaign is here.
With this campaign, Andre and Scott won a Créa ! So they decided to thank every body with a picture where they admire their trophy and the ad says the opposite : 0 One Show, 0 D&AD, 0 Art Director’s Club, 1 Créa.
When they ask me to take the picture I was very happy, we were looking for a place when we found this room with a beautiful morning light.

J’ai pris cette photo pour l’agence.
André et Scott ont conçu une campagne pour le Concours Créa récompensant chaque année les publicités les plus créatives au Québec. Pour cette campagne ils ont demandé aux Directeurs de Création les plus reconnus de la planète de poser l’air dépité, car malgré les nombreux prix glanés ils n’ont jamais obtenu de Créa. Évidemment… C’est un concours local.

Avec cette campagne, André et Scott, ont (eux) gagné un Créa. Pour remercier tout le monde de leur participation, ils prennent le contre-pied de leur publicité et posent en admiration devant leur trophée avec inscrit 0 One Show, 0 D&AD, 0 Art Director’s Club, 1 Créa.
J’ai été super heureux qu’ils me demandent de prendre la photo. En réfléchissant à un emplacement, nous sommes tombés sur cette salle de réunion magnifiquement éclairée par la lumière matinale.

Bos vs Deloitte

Here is my first serie in one post. Recently, I was a bit frustrasted to not be able to present several pictures in once. I found how to do it here, but I think about something new for more readability and easier navigation. It is not for tomorrow, I want to change all the design, but it is in process.
I took all of these pictures on Friday. There was a hockey game between Bos, the agency where I work, and Deloitte, a financial office. I took around 500 pictures, then selected 130 for the agency, and chose 11 for this blog, it was difficult to choose. I wanted you to be able to feel the atmosphere.

Voici ma première série de photos en un seul “post” sur ce photoblog. Cela fait quelques temps que je suis frustré de ne pouvoir mettre qu’une photo à la fois. J’ai trouvé ici un moyen d’y remédier temporairement, mais je réfléchis à un nouvel environnement plus agréable pour ce genre d’exercice.
J’ai pris ces photos vendredi après-midi lors d’un match de hockey entre Bos, l’agence où je travaille, et Deloitte, un cabinet d’audit. J’ai pris environ 500 photos, j’en ai sélectionné autour de 130 pour l’agence, pour enfin n’en présenter que 11 ici. Ce fut difficile de choisir, car je voulais que l’ambiance transparaisse et soit ressentie même par ceux qui n’y étaient pas, et 11 photos ça parait tellement peu…
