i took this picture two week-ends ago, for fabie’s two years aniversary. she loved a lot to be dangled in the hammock with her friend, arnaud. i played too, but with my lensbaby 2.0 !

j’ai pris cette photo, il y a deux week-ends, pour les 2 ans de fabie. elle a beaucoup aimé se balancer dans le hamac avec son copain arnaud, dont on aperçoit le bras, de trois jours son aîné. j’ai pu m’amuser moi aussi, mais avec le lensbaby 2.0 !

i didn’t have so much time this week to take new pictures. here is one i took last week in the côte-vertu subway station. update : it wasn’t in the côte-vertu subway station, but in jarry. the subway went to côte-vertu.

j’ai eu une semaine assez chargée et n’ai pas eu le temps de faire de nouvelles photos. en voici une de la semaine dernière prise dans la station de métro côte vertu. correction : ce n’était pas à la station côte-vertu, mais jarry. côte-vertu était en fait la direction du métro.

here is the same point of view as this one i took last year : window on the world. this time i have chosen to take it through the window shade with a very short depth of field. i like the abstract result, and i think the town is nicer like that.

voici la même vue depuis mon travail que cette photo de l’année dernière window on the world. je l’ai prise cette fois-ci à travers le store avec une profondeur de champs très courte pour que la ville soit seulement suggérée. cela rend montréal très abstrait.

it’s a picture in the subway. the caution is a sticker pasted on the door between two carriages. i used my lensbaby, that’s why the depth is so small.

bon, ça faisait 5 jours que je n’avais pas mis de nouvelles photos. il était temps. j’ai pris cette photo dans le métro. c’est un autocollant collé sur les porte qui séparent les rames. j’ai utilisé le lensbaby, ce qui crée cette si petite profondeur de champs.

i have received my lensbaby. what is it ? too difficult to explain in english, i advise you to go to visit their website. i played a bit with it, mostly in macro, as you can see on the picture. p.s. : urbania is a very good magazine on montreal made by toxa, a small design agency.

ça y est j’ai reçu mon lensbaby. qu’est-ce que c’est ? c’est un petit objectif au bout d’une membrane flexible qui permet de jouer avec la profondeur de champ et de donner des effets de flou. je me suis donc amusé en macro, comme la photo en atteste. p.s. : urbania est un magazine sur montréal réalisé par toxa, une petite agence de design.
